Blood on the Decks was originally made with model ships and pirate figures. Someone had the crazy idea to make it for real and so in October 2003 30 people assembled on Maidens Beach in Ayrshire for the live action filming.

Conceived as a silent movie – Burnout then brought together a band of musicians. Together they fused punk rock, celtic harmony and japanese war drumming to create an unforgetable soundtrack.

Final editing was completed early 2004, just in time for the world premier at the March FrockOn festival.
